Arrive with the right departure details and leave enough time for the operator’s check-in process. Here is a simple way to prepare.

From arrival to boarding.
Use the instructions on your own ticket for the exact counter, cut-off and boarding point.

Before you leave
Check the departure date, time, operator, vessel and destination. Tonsai and Laemtong are different arrival points on Phi Phi Don.

At the terminal
Find the operator’s check-in counter and have the booking details ready. Check-in can close before the published sailing time, so do not plan to reach the pier at the last minute.

Before boarding
Follow the operator’s instructions for baggage and the boarding area. Keep the ticket available until you are on the correct boat.
02 / The arrival pier
Phi Phi has more than one arrival point.
A ticket to Tonsai does not automatically put you at Laemtong. If you are staying farther from Tonsai, check your hotel’s location and the boat’s exact stop before you pay.

A landing time is not a pickup time.
Immigration when required, baggage collection, the airport exit, road traffic and the carrier’s check-in cut-off still have to fit. Leave a real buffer between your flight and your boat.
